So... how do you folks like the "New Battlestar Galactica." Better or worse
than the original. Me? I missed it.

I ended up watching a re-run late last night as an intermittent
distraction from proofing a bibliography in teeny-tiny print with lots of
German words. So I saw it only in bits and patches. It seemed OK, in a
TV-like way. Never saw the original.

It is sort of different than the original. The basic plot is still
there but you get external FX shots from Babylon 5, some parts
of the Blade Runner and I swear that actor who plays Baltar sort
of looks like Dr. Bashir from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
